Ennui Holiday アンニュイ・ホリデイare a new and distinct indie pop band that plays 80-90’s style J-POP including city pop. The band originated in 2020 by university students Onodera オノデラ and Oyamada オヤマダ (45) and sung mostly by Ikuraweirdo. They produce quality pop music without being categorized by musical genres. “Grotesque Love” is probably their best song and it talks about capitalism and romance in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. Their music is worth a listen.
